Why would you need a DSE workstation assessment?
If you or your staff have any work-related injuries then our Standard DSE Assessment will provide advice and recommendations to assist with the management of these injuries. Similarly, if you are looking to prevent work-related injuries occurring then our Standard DSE Workstation Assessments will identify any risks for individual and whole workforce's to provide long-term advice and improvements to keep your staff healthy.
What happens before, during and after my Standard DSE Assessment?
Once your Standard DSE assessment is ordered, we will contact you to book a date and time for the assessment which is convenient for you.
On the day of the assessment we will conduct a face to face assessment in which we will discuss any physical complaints in greater depth and analyse your workstation. Each aspect of the working environment will be assessed and observations of working posture and equipment will take place. We shall adjust existing equipment to provide a greater level of comfort and support.
Following the Standard DSE assessment, we shall provide a brief report which highlights any risks identified and explains any changes made at the assessment. Advice and recommendations to be considered for implementation will also be provided within the report. If applicable, a quote shall also be provided for any product recommendations.
What information will I receive following my Standard DSE Workstation Assessment?
We believe that all DSE assessments, regardless of comprehensiveness, should be followed by a report for future reference. Therefore, our Standard DSE Assessments will include a written report with advice on risks identified and recommendations (whether behavioral or environmentally) to be considered. We will explain any changes that have been made at the assessment and provide justifications to any recommendations through both written explanations and images taken at the assessment. Our Standard DSE Assessments shall also obtain user measurements to ensure accurate specification of equipment if required.
Please note that during Covid-19 all on-site assessments will be conducted whilst trying to observe social distancing guidelines. Some close interaction may be required to adjust existing equipment but all of our assessors are fully equipped with PPE to ensure this is completed safely.
