Penguin Mouse V2 Product Details

Penguin Mouse V2 is a vertical mouse that enables you to use the mouse with your hand and forearm in the neutral ‘handshake’ position. This improved posture protects against forearm twisting and exaggerated wrist movements as well as engaging the larger muscles of your upper arm and shoulder to move the mouse. This helps to avoid fatigue and upper limb conditions like repetitive strain injury (RSI) and carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) so you can work at your best.

The ambidextrous design, featuring the central bow-tie switch, means you can regularly switch mouse usage between your hands throughout the day. This helps prevent static muscle strain (SMS) in the arm and shoulder, a common source of discomfort during prolonged mouse use.

The easy-glide symmetrical base allows you to comfortably rest either hand on the mouse, promoting the use of larger muscles in the forearm and upper arm to move the mouse. Precise cursor control can still be achieved with small hand or finger movements.

The mouse is available in a choice of three sizes as follows:

Small - 0-16cm
Medium - 16-18cm
Large - 18cm +

Convenience of connectivity if provided via wired USB-C, wireless USB receiver or Bluetooth. Recharging is via the USB-C port and the mouse is plug-and-play to ensure hassle-free setup.

Ergonomic Benefits

The chances are you are spending a vast amount of time at work and at home using a computer for tasking and recreation. This invariably means using some form of mouse or touchpad to fulfil your duties. Over time, the focused and repetitive movements of mouse work can lead to musculoskeletal disorders and affect your performance. This makes the mouse an incredibly important part of your workstation.

Ergonomic mice are quite diverse and one that is correctly specified will not only meet your physical needs, but also help you to optimise your workspace. The mouse will safeguard you from the risk of pain and injury and also allow you to work efficiently and accurately.

Ergonomic mice can help with conditions like Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Repetitive Strain Injury and Arthritis.
