R-Go Ergonomic Armrest Details
R-Go Ergonomic Armrest provides comfortable support for your forearms when typing and using your mouse. This ensures that you have good posture while you work, which helps protect against fatigue and strain. The armrest is constructed from soft material and covered in vinyl, which makes it comfortable to use and easy to wipe clean.
The armrest has been contoured, providing you with space to slide in close to your desk, while providing a place to comfortably support your arms. This stimulates an upright working posture and provides relaxation in the shoulders.
This armrest fits almost all desktops and can be attached in two different ways, either via screw clamps or brackets.
R-Go products are assessed by external ergonomists and a test panel of users. Since June 2022, their ergonomic mice, Break keyboards, Riser laptop stands, monitor arms, and document holders are also AGR certified.
Ergonomic Benefits
Ergonomic wrist rests ensure good posture by limiting the angle to which your wrists can bend, avoiding unnecessary stress on your wrists. It is important to note that wrist rests shouldn’t provide the surface from which to work, moreover, your hands should move freely and be elevated above the rest. A good ergonomic posture ensures your arms sit naturally and parallel with the floor, with your hands supported at the same height.
During periods of downtime, or when your work routines do not require keyboard or mouse use, wrist rests provide a comfortable surface to rest and this should be via the heel or palm of your hand. This helps prevent compression in your blood vessels, tendons and nerves which is one of the causes of carpal tunnel syndrome. Resting your wrist on a hard surface like a table causes pressure on your wrists, making the rest potentially harmful.
