R-Go Split Break Ergonomic Keyboard Product Details
R-Go Split Break Ergonomic Keyboard is a split ergonomic keyboard that consists of two separate parts which are completely independent, allowing for the best postural positioning for your needs. This splitting allows you to work with straight wrists which reduces muscle tension and prevents pinching of tendons and blood vessels.
With one movement, the built-in magnet allows you to join or separate the keyboard so you can use it as a compact keyboard or split keyboard. The compact size ensures that your mouse is always within easy reach and when split the keyboard halves can be positioned for your comfort.
Due to the light keystroke, there is minimal muscle tension while typing and the keyboard is very flat, so your hands and wrists are relaxed while typing. This all helps to ensure you are protected from strain and working at your best.
The keyboard features integrated break software which is a really unique feature. This software prompts you to take regular breaks throughout the day which promotes blood circulation, prevents overloading and helps keep you fit.
LED colour signals in the keyboard indicate how healthy you are working and when it is time to take a break. As you type, the light changes colour like a traffic light. Green means you're working healthily, orange means it's time to take a break, red means you've been working too long. These subtle colour signals give you simple and positive feedback on your break behaviour. The R-Go Break Software won the Benelux Office Products Award 2021. Ergonomic Benefits
If you spend a large amount of your day using a computer you will invariably use a keyboard to fulfil your duties. Prolonged typing work can be strenuous and lead to discomfort and injury if an ergonomic keyboard is not utilised. Ergonomic split keyboards are designed to adapt to the natural posture of your hands, arms and shoulders so you can work with good posture. The keyboard is split down the middle and in some instances is concaved or can be angled to achieve the best possible ergonomic position.
The split and angled design avoids wrist pronation and twisting of the hands in order to align with the keyboard. Keys offer low-impact typing and layouts are optimised with function keys positioned for minimal movement. These ergonomic features allow you to focus and work more productively, protected from strain. Ultimately, a policy of using ergonomic keyboards reduces absenteeism, which not only provides financial benefits but also brings greater quality of life.
